Charlene Herrington, 64, of Sapulpa, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in Tulsa. She was born in Tulsa on September 26, 1943, the daughter of Herman Miller and Maxine (Baker) Miller. Before retiring Charlene worked for American Airlines for 21 years in the Corporate Ticket Control area. She and her husband Jerry Herrington were married in Miami, Oklahoma on August 5, 1966. Charlene was an active member of Cathedral of Praise church in Sand Springs, and was also a member of the Quota Club in Sand Springs. Stamping is a hobby she loved, which she took up after retirement. Family activities were very special to her and time spent with her family was precious to her.

She was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Hoover who died at the age of 2.

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23rd and Thursday, April 24th. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at Cathedral of Praise Church, 4600 S 129th W Ave, Sand Springs, with Pastor Mike Buie officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
