Mrs. Baumgardner Dies Monday At 82
Mrs. Fannie May Baumgardner, 82, widow of J. Charles Baumgardner, died Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Harry Gilbert, Herr's Ridge, Gettysburg R. 3, with whom she resided.
A native of Orrtanna, born September 28, 1879, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Mertz) Herring. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Dixon, Baltimore; a brother, David Herring, Gettysburg R. 3; a sister, Mrs. Grace Bishop, Biglerville; a grandson, Earl Baumgardner, Carlisle, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Peters Funeral Home, Carlisle St., with the Rev. Henry Early officiating. Interment in Flohr's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock at the funeral home.
