Cecily R. Fife, 45, of West Monroe, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Her funeral was at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe, with Fr. Frank Coen officiating. Interment was in St. Paschal's Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Evan Fife; her father, James Cecil Hernandez; paternal grandparents, Felix and Antoinette Hernandez; maternal grandparents, Felix and Josephine Brossett; and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her daughters, Eden Fife and Meredith Fife, mother, Ida Hernandez; sister and brother-in-law, Iris and Mark Stevenson of Choudrant; brother and sister-in-law, Chrys and Becky Hernandez of Martinsburg, W.V.; sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Roger Worsham of West Monroe; sister and brother-in-law. Alexis and Joey Ellis of West Monroe, nieces, Jennifer Roy and husband, Richard Roy, Cara Stevenson and Amanda Wiley and husband, John; nephew, Joseph Ellis, great nephews, Luke Roy and Tristan Calaman; "Bestest" friend, Deanie Daily; former husband, Steven Fife, and many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were Mark Stevenson, Roger Worsham, Richard Roy, Raymond LeBrun, Jamie Beach, and Ken Daily. Honorary pallbearer was Bill Albritton.
