Services for Dortha Collins, 84, Sulphur will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13 at the First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Ransom officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born June 19, 1922 in Oilton to Estella (Fager) and Albert F. Herd, she died Saturday, Dec. 9 at Norman.

She married Robert Neal Collins at Milwaukee, Wis., on July 15, 1952.

She grew up near St. Louis, Okla. and graduated from high school in Moore, Oklahoma. She later graduated from nursing school at Baptist Hospital in Muskogee,Oklahoma. She worked as an operating room registered nurse at various hospitals during her career. She spent the last half of her career at the Sulphur Veterans Center, Sulphur, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.

Her husband preceded her in death on August 30, 1983.

Surviving are one son, Neal A. Collins, Midwest City; one sister, Anna Belle Bishop, Moore; two brothers, Harold A. Herd, Moore,OK. and Alfred L. Herd, Reform, Ala. Pallbearers will be Tom Carr, Jim Parker, Toby Todd, Mike Martin, J. E. "Tiny" Day, Bob Seward, Craig Bishop and Kevin Herd.
