Anna was the daughter of George and Anna Steb Herbert of 1110 E. Eager Street in the Old Town neighborhood of East Baltimore. She married Earl Button in the 1930s. Anna and Earl had no children. Her sister Marie came to live with her after their parents had died. She died in 1969 and was buried at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore.

BUTTON - On December 17, 1969, ANNA B. (nee Herbert), of 4102 Moravia Road, beloved wife of C. Earl Button; devoted sister of Miss Marie Herbert and Mrs. Mary Ella Bell. Christian Wake Services will be held at The Leonard J. Ruck Funeral Home, Inc., 5305 Harford road (at Echodale), on Friday at 8 P.M. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine of the Little Flower on Saturday at 9 A.M. Interment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.
