Grace Hepworth Oser was born at Atchison, Kansas, February 27, 1875 and died at her home near Osage City, Nov 22 at the age of 43 years 8 months and 25 days.
While yet a child she moved with her parents to Osage City where she grew to womanhood. She was married to Nucholas Oser, Feb 27, 1894. To this union two children were born. Pearl and Alton.
She has been a faithful and loving wife and mother. Her sunny and happy disposition at home and among her friends leaves a vacancy that can never be filled.
She lead a good christian life which was a good example to all who came in contact with her.
She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, a son and daughter, her mother, Mrs Susan Hepworth and a sister, Mrs Jep Moxley of Osage City, three brothers Harry Hepworth of Phoenix, Arizona, Ed Hepworth of Newton, Kansas and James Hepworth of Vermillion, South Dakota, and other relatives and a host of friends.
Music was furnished by a mixede quartette from the Methodist church, Rev Waring officiated, using the 23rd psalm as the basis of his address. Interment was in hte Osage City cemetery.
