Mrs. Mary Crossley, 53, of 30 N. Arch St., wife of Carl T. Crossley, died at 6:55 p.m. Friday in Newark Hospital.
She had been ill 17 years and hospitalized a number of times and was admitted the last time Aug. 8.
Mrs. Crossley, a native of Columbus, was the daughter of the late Edward and Ella (Fravel) Henthorne, and had lived in Newark since 1931. She was born March 6, 1910, and for several years was employed at the Pharis Tire & Rubber Company, retiring in 1944 when her health failed.
Surviving are her husband, whom she married in 1933; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Wages and Mrs. Gladys Rogers, both of Newark, Mrs. Luella Ballard of Millersport; three brothers, Forest, Charles and Henry Henthorne, all of Columbus.
Friends may call at the Ross Henderson Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Sunday, where the Rev. Richard L. Mitchell will officiate at services in the chapel at 1 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery
