Mrs. Hensley, born Sept. 8, 1900 in Harrison County, Mo., died Thursday at Swedish Medical Center. She had moved to Yuma County in eastern Colorado as a child and spent 47 years there. Jan. 1, 1916 she was married to L. Earl Hensley and the couple moved to Denver in 1955 where they marked their Golden Wedding Anniversary last New Year's Day.
Survivors besides her husband include four daughters, Mrs. Shirley A. Marshall, Denver, Mrs. Mary L. Fast, Lakewood, Mrs. Bonnie B. Flores, Commerce City, and Mrs. Betty B. Rice, Willits, Calif.; seven sons, Jack L., Walter L. and Stanley K. Hensley all of Denver, Byron W., Littleton, E. Gene, Thornton, Dewey D., Aurora, and James E. Hensley, Sheldon, Mo.; her mother, Mrs. Minnie A. Helton, Denver; three brothers, James Helton, Denver, Edwin Helton, Hume, Mo., and Howard Helton, Syracuse, Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Bell and Mrs. Bessie Flohr, both of Denver, and Mrs. Emma Campbell, Englewood; and 30 grandchildren.
