August Henschel died at his home in the village of Princeton at 5:30 p.m. yesterday from a complication of diseases, following an illness of about a year. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church tomorrow (Friday) afternoon and the interment will be at Oak Knoll.
August Henschel was 66 years and 7 months old. He was born in Germany and came to the United States with his parents, who settled in Princeton township, when a child. He lived there until about five years ago, following the occupation of a farmer, and then retired, moving into the village of Princeton. He was married about 25 years ago to Mary Senzel of Belleville, 111., who survives him. He also leaves five children Erwin, St. Paul Maurice, Augustus, Carl, Austin and Dorothy, Princeton, and four brothers.
August Henschel was a man who had gained a competence by hard work on the farm, and it is to be, regretted that he did not live longer to enjoy it. He was of a kindly nature, and it it is to be regretted that his life was not longer spared to enjoy the competence for which he had worked so hard.
