Minnie Elizabeth HENRY, daughter of John HENRY and Johanna O'HARA, lived at 14630 Big Basin Way in Saratoga, Santa Clara, California between 16 Nov 1869 and 1883. Resided in the now historic John Henry House, built and named for her father. The house is included on walking tours of Saratoga. As of 2011, the house had been converted to office space, and was the office of Warren B. Heid and Associates, an architectural firm. She was born on 16 Nov 1869 in Saratoga, Santa Clara, California. She appeared in the census in 1870 in Redwood, Santa Clara, California. Minnie lived at 2044 Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda, Alameda, California in Jan 1920. She lived at 1127 Sherman Street in Alameda, Alameda, California in Apr 1930. Also in household were servants Roy G. and Mabel Mitchell, who were employeed as chauffer and housekeeper, respectively. She died on 17 Jun 1951 at the age of 81 in Oakland, Alameda, California. Minnie was buried on 20 Jun 1951 at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, Alameda, California. Minnie's legs were amputated and buried at Mountain View Cemetery on January 2, 1945. Her body was buried next to her legs.

"A final decree of divorce was granted Minnie E. Ecker to-day from George L. Ecker, a drummer, on the ground of cruelty. She alleges he sprayed her with whitewash. She also says he squandered $26,000 of her money." The San Francisco Call, November 29, 1904. George L. ECKER was born in Oct 1868 in San Francisco, California. He lived in San Francisco, California in 1870. He lived in San Francisco, California in 1880. George was also known as Harry Ecker.
