Irene Bell, 83, of Russellville, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Stella Manor Nursing Center in Russellville. The daughter of Doyle and Hallie Sullivan Henry, she was born January 4, 1927 in Pope County. She was a sales clerk with Howards Discount Store. She loved taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Senior Group at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning, reading and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband Cleveland Bell; her parents; her son, Danny Tucker; her grandson, Douglas Henry Tucker Foreman; and her sister, Lexie St. Amand.
She is survived by her Daughter Carolyn Sparks and husband Herman of Russellville, three grandchildren, Barry Sparks and wife Lori of Waldron, Rodney Sparks and wife Karen of Russellville and Quinton Tucker and wife Jillian of Alexandria, VA; two step daughters, Kay Buford and husband Martin of Stockton, CA and Kathy King and husband Bill of Stockton, CA; six step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren; her sister, LaDoris Sims and husband Gerald of Subiaco and her brother, Charles Doyle Henry Jr. of Torrance, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins,
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Humphrey Chapel. Pastor Eddie Rogers will officiate. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 P.M., on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
