Loretta H. Eckman Loving Mother, Grandmother And Great-Grandmother
Loretta H. Eckman, 90, of 125 S. Broad St., Lititz, died Thursday at Audubon Villa.
She was the wife of the late Richard J. "Hap" Eckman Sr., who died in 2002.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha Bailey Henrich.
She had worked for the RCA Corp. for 30 years, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church, and was an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary at St. James Catholic Church in Lititz.
She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by 2 sons: Richard, Jr., married to Linda Eckman of Lancaster, and William Sr., wife of Cheryl Eckman of Mountville; 1 daughter, Martha, married to Carl Hrbac of Lititz, and a daughter-in-law, Arla Eckman of Conestoga. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 7 step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul, and a daughter, Janice, and by 5 brothers: James, John, William, Anthony, and Richard Henrich.
