Era Tucker Hennington, 96, died Monday, October 28, 2002, at Hardy Wilson Hospital in Hazlehurst. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Stringer Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services are 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial in Crystal Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Hennington was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Crystal Springs and WMU. She was a member of the Floral Club and the Camellia Garden Club. During WWII she worked for Naval Supply Depot in New Orleans.
Survivors include: sister, Mamie T. Garrett of Crystal Springs; nephew, Tom Bradshaw of Crystal Springs; nieces, Betty Gajee of New Orleans, LA., Sara Bradshaw of Washington, D.C., Peggy Gaddy of Crystal Springs and Bobby Sims of Jackson and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
