Carolyn Buddemeyer, 56, of Rock Island, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at St. Anthony's, Rock Island.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. today at Jesus Church of the Quad Cities, Rock Island, where she was a member. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Carolyn was born June 9, 1950, in Rock Island, the daughter of Clifford and Betty Lou Kenney Henning. She married Glen Scherer in 1969 in Rock Island. She later married Conrad Buddemeyer in 1986 in Santa Ana, Calif. He died Aug. 18, 2004.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and listening to music. She belonged to AA.
Survivors (and spouses) include daughter, Glenda (Bob) Thomas, Geneseo; sons, Mike (Sandra) Robbins, San Bernardino, Calif., Jon (Karen) Robbins, Richmond Hill, Ga., and Sean Robbins, Long Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren; a sister, Linda Gibbons Hawkins, Tampa, Fla.; one niece and one nephew; and several cousins including Mark Smith, who was her caregiver, of Rock Island.
