HAZEL HENNESSEE
Funeral services for Hazel Hennessee, 73, of Old Peavine Road, Crossville, who passed away Aug. 26, 1998, were held Aug. 29 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Turner Cemetery. Bros. Phil Jenkins and Larry McDuffee officiated.
She was born Oct. 9, 1924 in Cumberland County, the daughter of Wed Lee Houston and Charlotte Hall Houston.
Mrs. Hennessee was a physical therapy technician, and she was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Junior Hennessee of Crossville; daughters, Donna Griffin, Deanna Smith and Dianna Smith, all of Crossville; son, Dale Hennessee of Crossville; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Marshall Houston of Crossville; and sisters, Joyce Alley of Nashville and Willie Hancock of Crossville.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dixie; son, Harold Lester; sister, Faye Etta Phillips; and brothers, Dan, Clay and Lester Houston.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Scott Griffin, Jeff Smith, Steve Smith, Patrick Smith, Perry Smith and Michael Hennessee.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
