Mrs. Jewell Hennessee

Mrs. Jewell Hennessee, age 95 of Whitney, died Friday morning, November 16, 1990 at the Park Plaza Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 18, at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney. Reverend Kenneth Stevens officitiating. Burial was in the Whitney Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hennessee was born January 28, 1895 in Bosque County, the daughter of John Henry and Penelope Hayes Mallory. She was a retired telephone operator and lived in Whitney most of her life. She married T.O. Hennessee, February 11, 1917 and he died July 4, 1967. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Whitney.
She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Montgomery of Whtiney; three grandchildren, Conita Jean Lester of Kaufman, Charles Ronald Montgomery of Garland, and a foster grandson, Jesse Ramon of Garland; six great grandchildren and four great great granchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
