Funeral services for Lucille Hennen Holstead, 96, of Choudrant, LA will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Douglas United Methodist Church with Rev. Rolly Walker officiating assisted by Rev. Raymond Crofoot. Interment will follow in the Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. Mrs. Holstead was born in Choudrant, LA on October 5, 1916 and passed away in Ruston, LA on January 10, 2009. She was a member of Douglas United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Holstead is preceded in death by her husband Melvin T. Holstead; siblings, Margie Fern Holstead, Bobby Jack Holstead, and Betty Lou Holstead Harrison.
She is survived by her son, Thermon Holstead and wife Anne; her daughter Juanita Holstead Posey and husband Gene; brother-in-law, Cecil Holstead and wife Katie; grandchildren; Gail Coltharp and husband Jack, Becky Rounsaville and husband Robbie, Susan Colbert and husband Chris, Kathy Harper and husband Pat, Liz Trant and husband Reggie, Patti Audrisch and husband Robert, Denise Wyles, Angel Smith and husband Tim, Ronald Posey and wife Peggy, Deborah Chandler and husband Mark, Jeffrey Posey and wife Beverly, Rhonda Hoffman and husband Bob, Faith Woods and husband Alan; 21 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be great grandsons; T.J. Coltharp, Ethan Colbert, Brad and Ben Scoggins, Clint Trant, Brandon Chandler, and Heath and Gene Posey. Honorary pallbearers will also be great grandsons; Robert Audrisch, Chris Audrisch, Dustin Wyles, Cody Chandler, and Robert Wyles.
