Henington

WOLFE CITY Bruce E. Henington, 46, co-owner of Henington Industries in Wolfe City died in Dallas about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral arrangements are pending with Owens Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Henington, two sons, Wayne Henington and Bryant Henington; two daughters, Shelly Henington and Wendy Henington; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Henington, all of Wolfe City.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Doris Thomason of Wolfe City and Mrs. Julia Wensel of Little Rock, Ark.

Henington

WOLFE CITY Funeral services for Bruce Eugene Henington, 46, will be at 3 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Wolfe City with Rev. Robert Renfro, pastor, and Dr. L. T. Daniel of Dallas, a member of the Southern Baptist Convention Relief and Annuity Board, officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery under direction of Owens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the family home and at the home of his parents, Dr. and Mrs. C. K. Henington.

Mr. Henington died of an apparent heart attack about 2 p.m. Wednesday while he was playing golf on a Dallas golf course.

Born on Aug. 19, 1925 in Springer, Okla., Mr. Henington married the former Miss Barbara Winans on June 23, 1951 in the Central Christian Church in Greenville.

A World War II veteran, Mr. Henington was co-owner of Henington Industries in Wolfe City and he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfe City, where he served as a member of Board of Deacons.

He graduated from the University of Texas in 1950.

At the time of his death, he was chairman of the board of the Webb Hill Country Club and a member of the Elcelsior Lodge 505 AF&AM, the Scottish Rite Temple of Dallas and the Hella Shrine Temple.

Survivors, in addition to his wife and his parents, are two sons, Wayne and Bryan Henington, two daughters Shelly and Wendy Henington, and two sisters, Mrs. Allen Thomason of Wolfe City and Mrs. Ron Wensel of Little Rock, Ark.

Pallbearers will be W. A. Christian, R. G. Milton, Ken Austin, Joe Rabb, Sim Owens, Gene Brent, B. T. Williams and Bobby George Wisdom.
