Mabel M. Hendry, went to be with the Lord after a brave battle with cancer.
She was born in Minnesota. She grew up in the Midwest and was a secretary during World War II in the Pentagon.
Mabel married the love of her life, Harold Hendry, in January of 1946.
Mabel was a caring mother and volunteered in the community, liked square dancing, camping, travel, reading, sewing and worked parttime at Fresno City College. She enjoyed church and her Bible study group tremendously. Mabel had a deep faith in God that showed in her life.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Harold Hendry; son Alan Hendry and his wife Carrie of Oakhurst; daughter, Anita Hatch and her husband Rob of Madera; her eight grandsons; as well as many friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at Riverpark Bible Church, on December 13, 2008, 7500 N. Millbrook Ave., Fresno, at 10:00 a.m.
