"David B. Hendry, 61, 900 Seventh Ct., died suddenly at 5:20p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital (Lorain, Ohio.) Striken with severe pains in the chest, he walked into the hospital emergency room where he collapsed.
Death is believed due to a heart attack.
Mr. Hendry was born in Paisley, Scotland and came to the United States 37 years ago. He has been a resident here since 1925 and retired four years ago from National Tube Division where he had been employed as a machinist.
He attended First Presbyterian Church and was a life member of the Masonic order of Paisley, Scotland.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; a son, David, at home; two brothers, Walter and Norman, and two sisters, Mary and Nettie, all in Scotland.
Friends may call at Schwartz - Spence Home for Funeral, 1124 Fifth Street, after 7p.m. today. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Allie A. Clayton, pastor of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery."
