Death of Mrs. Hendricks.
On Friday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Elmira Hendricks, wife of Milas Y. Hendricks, residing two miles east of this city. Mrs. Hendricks was born in this county March 2, 1838, being seventy-two years of age at the time of her death. She was a daughter of Samuel Smiley and was married to Milas Hendricks in 1859. Deceased is survived by her husband and four children, Samuel, Cressie, Lewis and Mrs. Rice Demaree of this vicinity. Her death was due to heart trouble, although she had been afflicted by poor health for some time.
The funeral services by Rev. B. W. Tyler were held Sunday morning at the late home. Burial at Greenlawn.
