Golda Elizabeth Henderson passed away Friday, November 2, 2001 in Bountiful Utah.
She was a centenarian, born Jan 16, 1901 in Fairview, UT. She was the daughter of Lindsay Edmond Brady and Dorthea Gurena Christensen Brady. She was the wife of James Woodland Henderson. They were married in the Logan LDS Temple, Jan 12, 1921. He preceded her in death.
While living in Idaho, she worked many years in the Arimo Idaho Ward Primary as a teacher and a pianist as well as serving in the Idaho Portneuf Stake YWMIA. After moving to California, she was an organist and Relief Society President for 7 years in the Visalia California Ward. She excelled in homemaking and was a gifted poet. Throughout her life she was a shining example to her family and to all who came in contact with her.
Survivors include son, Dan B. Henderson; and daughters, E. Joane Jones, Nada Floisand. She left 15 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchil-dren, and 10 great-great-grandchil-dren.
Family viewing will be at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, Tues. Nov 6, 6-7 p.m. Services in Arimo, ID, Wed. Nov 7, Arimo Ward chapel, 12 noon, with burial at the Arimo Cemetery.
