Mrs Phyllis L. Lodoen

Mrs. Phyllis L. Lodoen, 83, of 327 Melody Lane, died at her home on Monday evening following an extended illness.
Born in Birmingham, England, on July 25, 1892, she came to Canada in 1900 and made her home in Grand Forks. In 1908 she moved to Keller, and on Sept. 7, 1910 was married to Morris Lodoen.
Mrs. Lodoen was a cook at the Keller school for many years and was reporter for the Wilbur Register until 1973. Active in community affairs, she taught piano and had raised seven foster children. Following the death of her husband in 1973 she came to Wenatchee to make her home with her daughter here.
She was a member of the Keller Community Church.
Surviving are one son, Paul Lodoen, Fairbanks, Alaska; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Ellen) Van Doren, Wenatchee; a brother, Cyril Henderson, Hampshire, England; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date by the Jones and Jones Funeral Home.
