Evelyn Velma, 71, of OKC, died Monday. Born Oct. 10. 1913 at Daisy OK. She was a housewife. She married Charlie Givens in 1931, came to OKC 45 years ago from Stringtown OK. Member of the Newalla Baptist Church. Survived by 2 daughters, Linda Speers and Clara Givens, both of OKC; 3 brothers, Bailey Henderson of Shawnee, Cecil and Johnny Henderson, both of Newalla; 2 sisters, Alice McCoy of Bakersfield CA, and Esther Wood of Newalla; 9 grandchildren, and 10
great-grandchildren. Services Thursday, Jan. 3 at 2pm, at the Newalla Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dwight Thornton officiating. Interment in Sunny Lane Cemetery, directed by Captiol Hill Funeral Home.
