HAVANA, IL - Mabel Boggs, 89, of 626 W. A St. died December 30, 1991.
Born Nov. 27, 1902, in Fulton County to Isaac and Charlcie Leonard Hendee, she married Edgar Boggs on Sept. 13, 1922, in Havana.
He survives, along with three daughters, Betty Hudnut of Springfield, Rosalie Maloney of Alton and Irene Roats of Philadelphia; two sons, Robert of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Thomas E. of Havana; two sisters, Martha Lippert of Havana and Hazel Sparks of Astoria; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. One daughter and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Havana and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 6408.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
