Charles L. Hemler, 632 Third St., Hanover, 59, a native of Hanover, died at his home Sundat at 2:30 p.m.
A son of the late Jerome E. and Odelia Gruninger Hemler, he is survived by his wife, Evelyn Greenholt Hemler; two sons, Charles L. Helmer Jr., of Desplains, Ill. and J, Micael Hemler, Matawan, N.J.; five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Katherine Adams, George St., Richard Hemler, Centennial Ave., Both of Hanover; Mrs. Pauline O. Bange, Westminster, Md.; and Harold Hemler and Mrs. George Thomassy, both of Hanover.
A member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, he was a World War II veteran and worked for Revonah's Spinning Mill for 30 years.
A Requiem Mass will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Wetzel's Funeral Home, Hanover, with Mass following at the church, Msgr. Rev. Robert J. Maber, celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery.
