Roberta Bright, 85, of Stanford, died Friday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Born Feb. 10, 1920, in Stanford, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Betty Helm. She was a member of Boneyville Baptist Church, Pansy Social Club, Federation Association of Colored Women's Club and first vice president of South District Women's Missionary Auxiliary. She was retired from National Casket Co., formerly in Lancaster, and the widow of Jesse F. "Frank" Bright.
Survivors include a stepson, Jesse F. Bright of Lexington; a stepdaughter, Maxine Stevenson of Cincinnati; a brother, Joe Will Helm of Stanford; and two sisters, Viola Farmer of Cincinnati and Mildred Gooch of Stanford.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Boneyville Baptist Church by Robert Coulter Jr. and Oliver Miller Jr. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the church.
Smith-Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
