Edna Andrews, 75, of Boonville, passed away, unexpectedly, at her home on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Visitation for Edna will be at Davis Funeral Chapel on Sunday evening, Mar. 25th from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock with a short prayer service at 6:00. The mass of Christian Burial will be held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, Mar. 26th with burial following at the church cemetery. Edna G. Andrews was born in Prairie Home, MO, Aug. 30, 1936, the daughter of Herman Heisler and Lula Franken Heisler. She graduated from SS Peter and Paul Catholic High in 1954. She married J. B. Andrews on January 24, 1965 and they are the parents of three children. Edna was a homemaker who had worked for Bimet factory for several years. She became a local sports fan when her children began participating and has enjoyed sports ever since. After their retirement Edna enjoyed sitting with J.B, visiting and watching the world go by. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elaine Pyles, Pauline Baker and Helen Fredrick and brothers, Herman and Raymond Heisler. She is survived by her husband, J.B Andrews of the home, children, Vince and John Andrews of Boonville and Pat Loomstein of Chicago. Her brother Jerry Heisler of Boonville, and sisters, Rose Ann Weber of Glasgow, MO and Mary Agnes Windsor of Pilot Grove also survive, as well as her five grandchildren.
