Daniel (Danny) Thomas Heiney, age 56, was called away to be with his Lord October 3, 2012 in Houston, MO. Daniel was born November 4, 1955 in Rolla, MO to Daniel Thomas and Edna Marie (Hedrick) Heiney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Marie Heiney, two sisters, Mary and Dianna and one brother, Vernon, also his father-in-law, Dean Cooper.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Bethany, three sons, Gary, Seth and Jacob, one daughter-in-law, Diane and mother-in-law Betty Cooper, all of Houston, MO, four grandchildren; Jennifer, Jessica and Christopher of Hawaii and Bryson of Houston, MO. He is also survived by three sisters, Mona Lewis and husband Wilber of Eunice, MO, Joyce Franklin and husband Tom of Yukon, MO and Vera Franklin and Mike of Willow Springs, MO, three brothers; Ivan Heiney and wife Julie of Eunice, MO, Robert Heiney and wife Betty of Licking, MO and James Heiney and Diane of Licking, MO, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Daniel married the love of his life, Bethany Cooper on November 10, 1979.
He loved animals, so he had all kinds including birds and fish. Danny loved to attend church services and gospel singings. He was a member of Brown Hill Baptist Church but enjoyed attending Nagle and Big Creek churches as well.
Danny was a loving, husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
