Glen was born on May 4, 1913 in Rural Cass County, half way between Louisville and Plattsmouth, to Henry Jr. and Louise (Vogler) Heil.
He was never married, but as a farmer, Glen's love was the land, his cattle and his horses.
Glen is survived by his niece Marvel and her husband Dale Schnackel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Jr. and Louise Heil, sister, Edna Meisinger and niece Ellen Meisinger.
Visitation was held Monday April 19, 2010 at Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home and funeral services were Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Louisville, NE with burial at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to either Immanuel Lutheran Church or Louisville Care Center.
