Minnie was born in Hancock County, Indiana on October 17, 1868. The Shore family migrated to Agnes City, Kansas sometime after 1870. At some point, they moved to Pierce City, Missouri and finally settled in Cassville, Barry County, Missouri.
Minnie married Henry Hegwer, to this union was born a son, Harold Otis Hegwer. Minnie has six brothers, James William, John Albert, Henry Elmer, Marion Edmond, Elliott Warren, and Earl Shore. Paternal grandparents are William D. and Mary (Jeffrey) Shore. Maternal grandparents are James Hare and Elizabeth (Evans) Murphy.
Minnie Mae (Shore) Hegwer obituary states the following.
Surviving are one son, Otis Hegwer of Carterville; two granddaughters, Miss Betty Ann Hegwer of Carterville and Mrs. Henry Sterling of Belmont, MO.; two brothers, Elmer Shore of Cassville, MO., and Eddie Shore of San Diego, Calif.
William D Shore is buried at the Chappell-Shore Cemetery in Hancock County, Indiana. Mary O. (Jeffrey) Shore is buried at the Olvey Cemetery in Hancock County, Indiana. James Hare Murphy is buried at the Dunn Cemetery in Hancock County, Indiana. Elizabeth (Evans) Murphy is buried at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Marion County, Indiana.
