Mrs. Margaret Hefner Brodbeck, 60, Lima native and wife of Thomas E. Brodbeck, 1657 Cedar Ave., Cincinnati, died of a heart attack at midnight Friday in Christ Hospital, Cincinnati.
Mrs. Brodbeck had reported for work as night switchboard operator at the hospital when she was stricken. She died a short time later.
The Brodbecks had operated a grocery on Blackhoof St. in Wapakoneta until three years ago when they moved to Cincinnati. She was a past matron of the Wapakoneta Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving besides her husband are a sister, Mrs. Frank L. Pringle, 507 Fairfield Drive; a brother, George E. Hefner, 1839 W. Elm St.
The body will be removed to the Davis-Miller & Son Funeral Home here to remain until completion of funeral arrangements.

BRODBECK, Mrs. Thomas E. - Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Davis-Miller & Son Cathedral Chapel. The Rev. Dr. J. Ira Jones will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Members of Wapakoneta Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, will conduct memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Pallbearers will be Berle Crider, Hugo Telljohn, Forest Lotridge, George Stroble, Ezra Haines and Norman Strausberg.
