Deborah Ann Beckenthal, 53, passed away November 20, 2005 in Yuma. She was born June 2, 1952 in Eugene, Oregon. Deborah graduated from Kofa High School class of 1970 and was employed as an Instructional Aide at Rolle School and was a member of First Christian Church.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Dean A. Beckenthal; daughter, Stephanie Beckenthal; son, Jeffrey Beckenthal; and father, Richard Leon Hefner, all of Yuma and brothers, Kevin Hefner, of Phoenix, Ariz., David Hefner, of Yuma and uncle, Malcolm C. Leet, of Yuma. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Lucille Hefner.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2005 at Johnson Mortuary with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Paul Gambling will officiate. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Mark Stroh, Bobby Frame, David Hefner and Kevin Hefner. Honorary pallbearers are Dean Beckenthal and Jeff Beckenthal.
