Bath was born on a farm in Bourbon Co., KY, the dau./o James Wight of Scotland. [No proof of her par.s]

Bath & Wash didn't unite until both families had re-located to Rush Co., IN ca. 1826 when the Bureau of Land Management opened up the nation with parcels of land for sale @ $1.25/ac.

Bath was wed to Wash on 18 Sep 1834 in/nr Rushville, Rush Co., IN.

Their 1st child, Amanda, was b. here on 11 Sep 1835.

By 1836, they were living in/nr Camden Mills, Rock Island Co., IL, where George owned/managed a hotel.

On 29 May 1845, their last child, Edwin R. Heflin, was b. in Camden Mills, Rock Island Co., IL.

By 1866, Wash & Bath were living in/nr Woodbine, Harrison Co., IA where they lived until their demise.
