She was born and raised in Kentucky. Her maiden name was Penn. She was married at the age of fifteen to Mr. Terry and to them was born one son, who survives her. Five years ago, she was married to Gordon Hedge at her home in Newman, Illinois. They removed to this state about two years ago. Mrs. Hedge was a member of the M. E. church at Newman but had not been able to attend church since living here. She was an earnest christian and just before her death requested that religious services be held, which were conducted by sister Carrie Overstreet. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church at North Salem, Friday, at 11 o'clock, by Rev. Daugherty of Jamestown, interment being in the cemetery at that place. [April 28, 1904 Republican]
