Floyd Raymond Hedge, age 73, Lizton, died Sept. 9, 1982 at his home. Services were Sept. 12 from the Jones & Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg, with Father William Pappano officiating. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary was Sept. 11.
A native of Jamestown and life-long resident of Lizton, he was born July 30, 1909 to Harvey T. and Nettie (Bailey) Hedge. He was a member of the St. Malachy Catholic Church at Brownsburg. He was a retired employee of Butler University, working in the maintenance and grounds department from 1970 to 1973. His early career included working for 24 years at Electric Steel Castings at Speedway (1927-1951) and terminal manager for Interstate Motor Frieight System from 1951 to 1961, when he began working for the State Highway Department. He retired in 1970 as a foreman.
Survivors include a son, Raymond (Al) Hedge of Lizton and four grandsons: Timothy, James, Thomas and John.
