The Gettysburg Times, Jan 16, 1937:
Mrs. Virginia A. Blessing, of 235 Hummel avenue, Lemoyne, widow of Edwin M. Blessing, died Friday morning in a Harrisburg hospital.
Surviving are one son, three brothers and five sisters, one of whom is Mrs. Margaret Hogue, of York Springs.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Lemoyne.
Funeral services will be held at the home of a sister, Mrs. Harriet Smith, 2622 Jefferson street, Harrisburg, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. L. A. Bush, of Boiling Springs, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. E. S. Frey, pastor of Lemoyne Trinity church. Interment will be in Enola cemetery.
