Charles E. Heck Dead; Rites Wed.
Charles E. Heck, 74, farmer; died Monday morning, Feb. 18, in Barber hospital, Lyons. He suffered a stroke and heart attack Tuesday, Feb. 12. He was born in Huron, son of William and Myra Viele Heck. He spent his early years in Huron, later moving to North Wolcott. Surviving are two sons, William
Heck of Wolcott and Lester Heck of Sodus; three daughters, Mrs. Glenn Watson of South Butler, Mrs. William DeVall of North Rose, Mrs. William Harrison of Rochester: one brother, William Heck of Huron; two sisters, Mrs. William Lamb of Huron and Mrs. Jerry Garner of Fair Haven; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p. m. at Becker's undertaking parlors with Rev. B.E. Butman, pastor of North Wolcott Methodist church, officiating. Burial was made in Huron Evergreen cemetery.
