He had been employed by Bemis Manufacturing in Flemington, NJ for several years before retiring. Prior to that, he was employed by Victor-Balata for 34 years. He had a love for all dogs. Memberships: He was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson, Pa. He was a life member of the Avona Volunteer Fire Company, and a charter and life member, and one of the first trained EMT's of Suburban Rescue Squad.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Audrey, he is survived by a son, Gary A. and his wife, Joanne of Palmer Township; a step-granddaughter, Nicole; two step-great-grandchildren, Francois, and Brianna, and great friends, Tom and Kim Gutekunst and their children, Emily, Tommy, and Hannah. A brother, Bob Cahoon, died earlier.
