Funeral services for Arthur B. Hearne, 72, of 906 McGuire St., Monroe, will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe with the Rev. N. D. Pearce officiating, assisted by the Rev. Isaac Patton.

Burial will be in Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Hearne, a native of Chatham, died Thursday evening at St. Francis Hospital following a brief illness. He was a retired barber and member of Stone Avenue Methodist Protestant Church in Monroe.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nell Hearne; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth H. Bramble, both of Monroe; two brothers, Dwight Hearne of Baton Rouge and Morris Hearne of Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Griffith of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Ethel Burton of Huntsville, Tex., and Mrs. Hazel Duck of Bunkie; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Allen Petty, Harry Petty, P. H. Crawford, Earl Price, Billy Morris Hearne and Cecil Stevens.
