Timmy Healy, 51, of Walton Beach, FL, and formerly of Keyser, died on Friday, January 4, 2013.

Born on September 30, 1961 in Keyser, he was a son of Joan (Bell) Conway of Frostburg and the late Dr. Paul T. Healy and biological son of the late Norma (Haywood) Shoemaker. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Tana S. Leilich and Theodora Buttrum.

Tim was a retired U.S. Navy Gulf War Veteran and his decorations, medals, badges, citations and campaign ribbons awarded were: Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Award, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, Fleet Marine Force Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and Overseas Service Medal. He was a former security guard at Allegany College in Cumberland, MD.

Surviving are his mother, Joan Conway, his sons, Alexander Paul Healy, Thomas Dylan Healy and Taylor Dean Healy; his brothers, Gary Healy, Terry Healy, Danny Healy, Jeff Healy, Matthew Healy, Timothy Buttrum, Anthony Haywood, Theodore Shoemaker; and his sisters, Teresa Riggleman Staggs, Julie Coleman, Sandy K. Brafford, Gwena Tinker, Wendy Lou Healy Spiker and Paula Jo Snider. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Tim was an avid Dolphin and West Virginia sports fan.

Friends may be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, January 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steffan Carr officiating.

Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV, where military honor will be accorded. Pallbearers will be Jayme Brafford, Timothy Buttrum, Robbie Cutter, Cameron Tinker, John Tinker and Jack Tinker.
