Mrs. Fontana passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Mrs. Fontana and husband, Jack Fontana, Jr., owned Cascio's Seafood Tavern on 18th Street in Monroe for 28 years. They were married for 39 years before he passed away. She loved traveling with her family.
Survivors include her children, Jennifer Riley and husband Pat, Jodi Plummer and husband Kenneth Henry, and Jeffery Fontana; grandchildren, Stephan Plummer, Brandon Riley, Nathan Henry, Kyra Henry, Gabrielle Henry and Nicholas Riley; two sisters, Margaret Rae Ford and Kathy McDuffie and husband Blythe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe. A vigil wake will be held at 6:00 PM.
