Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. Roger Heacock passed away June 27, 2013, at the age of 72. Preceding him in death were his parents; his son Leon, in 2010; his sisters, Sue Hodges, in 1980, and Joan Anspaugh, in 2005. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Eleanor; his son, Roger Jr., both of Kalamazoo; his daughter, Helen (Tim) Gray, of Otsego; his grandsons, Jordon Hamilton, of Gobles, Jason (Chelsea) Gray, of Plainwell; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Marie and David Jon Gray, of Plainwell; siblings, Rose (Charles) Franks, of Kalamazoo, Charles Heacock, of the Upper Peninsula, Edith Gray, of Battle Creek, Arlene Branch, of California, and Bruce Heacock, of Ohio; he also leaves many nieces and nephews who will cherish memories of times with "Uncle Roger." The family wishes to thank Reverence Hospice Care for the wonderful care they provided in Roger's last weeks. Missing you. God took you away a year ago my love. I know you are happier and pain free. I imagine you fishing and playing cards, the things you loved to do when you were with us.
