Alice Hazelwood, age 56, of Fairfield, passed away in Fairfield Mercy Hospital Tuesday February 4, 1997. She was born in New Miami to Estel and Lizzie (Baker) Hobbs. In 1960 in Liberty, Indiana she married to Ferndale Hazelwood.

She is survived by her husband Ferndale Hazelwood; her mother and step-father Lizzie and Bud Focks of Watson Oklahoma; two sons, Dale Hazelwood of Hamilton and and Shawn (Trici) Hazelwood of Hamilton, one daughter Trina (Stan) Fugate of Amelia; four brothers, Virgil of Portland, Oregon, Edmond, Jim and Bob, all of California; five sisters, Lorine of Hamilton in Alabama, Juanita and Susie both of Eugene in Oregon, Cricket of Palm Beach, Fla. and Connie of California.; two grandsons Jesse and Viny Fugate.

She was preceded in death by her father Estel Hobbs, by one son Roger Hazelwood in 1970 and one brother Edward.

Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Rose Hill Burial Park with Rev John Carter, Jr. of the Trinity Family Fellowship. Burial will follow. Brown Dawson Funeral Home in charge.
