East Prairie, MO - Mrs. Leroy Bisher, 67 years old, of East Prairie, died Saturday at Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston after an extended illness.
Funeral service was held Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
She was born Nov. 6, 1908, in New Madrid County. The former Miss Ethelyne Mista Haynes married Leroy Bisher on July 5, 1930. They resided in Mississippi County for the past 39 years.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Mrs. Hilda Hardison, Mrs. Phyllis Bonner, Mrs. Shirley Bolden and Mrs. Maxine Haney; sons, Brian Leroy, and Sheldon Ray Bisher; sisters, Mrs. Clarence Lee Walters, Mrs. Beatrice Rodgers and Mrs. Lena Tiptitt; brother, Brian Jennings Haynes; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
