DEATH OF MRS. WILLIAM DITTON
Mrs. William Ditton died last Saturday afternoon between three and four o'clock at her home on East Market street. Though in feeble health for several months, her relatives did not look for her early demise, and her death was quite unexpected. She grew worse on Tuesday and sank steadily until nature yielded to the ravages of the disease of the brain with which she was afflicted.
Mrs. Ditton was known to old residents as the wife of Henry Carmon who died here many years ago. Three years since she married Mr. Ditton, was his faithful domestic partner until his death last fall.
She was a kind-hearted woman, and her taking away is mourned by a large circle of friends.
Mrs. Ditton was fifty four years of age.
The funeral, which occurred on Monday afternoon at four o'clock, was conducted by Rev. Charles Little and at the conclusion of the ceremony, the remainswere borne to their last resting place in Falls Cemetery.
