Margaret T. (Haynes) Holtzapple of Delanco passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2013 in Mount Holly. She was 85.
A graduate of Palmyra High School, Peg was proud of her family and loved talking about her memories of her childhood, her marriage, and all her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and her great great grandchild. Peg was also proud of her Irish heritage. She worked as a sales clerk at K-Mart in Delran for about 15 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late John C. Holtzapple Jr.; loving mother of Patricia A. Vogel (Richard Yesner), Donna J. Briggs (William), the late John C. Holtzapple III (Adele), and Thomas C. Holtzapple; grandmother of Jamie A. Bowker (Gary), William E. Briggs Jr., Kevin S. Briggs (Elizabeth, Kimberly A. Johnson (Mikel), John C. Holtzapple IV (Stephanie), Christopher Holtzapple (Nicole), Alex Holtzapple (Irina), Jessica Holtzapple, and Stephen Holtzapple; great-grandmother of 15; and great great-grandmother of one. Peg was the beloved sister of John Haynes, Thomas Haynes, Charles Haynes, and Marie Roback, all deceased, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends of the family are cordially invited to celebrate Margaret's life in a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside, followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Casimir site of Resurrection Parish, New Jersey Ave., Riverside. Interment will follow the Mass in Monument Cemetery, Beverly.
