Frank was survived by his wife, Anita Cole Hayne, whom he married on 25 Aug. 1946 in Charleston, S.C.
"DR. FRANK HAYNE — Dr. Frank George Hayne, of 48 Pitt St., a dentist, died Tuesday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Burial, directed by Harleston-Boags Funeral Home, will be in Unity and Friendship Cemetery. Dr. Hayne was born June 22, 1909, in Charleston, a son of Charles Guenveur Hayne and Elizabeth Deignan Hayne. He attended Immaculate Conception High School, Avery Institute, Fisk University, and [Meharry] Medical College. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and the Athenians. He was a member of National Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the South Carolina Medical, Dental, and Pharmaceutical Association.
