Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Mae Hayes Ayres, 59, Madison resident, were held at 11 o'clock Friday morning at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home with the burial in Spring Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ayres died at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, August 30, at Mid-State Baptist
Hospital in Nashville, after an illness of six weeks.
A daughter of Robert E. Hayes of Nashville and the late Mrs. Daisy Smith Hayes, she was born in Franklin, Texas, but had lived in Nashville for fifty years.
Mrs. Ayres is survived by her husband, W. F. Ayres; her father; and one brother, R. Thurman Hayes, Nashville.
