Hayes, Rosena Age 86 years, was called home on Monday, October 31 2011 at Rosewood Care Center. Born in Ofahoma, MS, she attended Tugaloo Elementary School Teachers College. She has resided in Joliet since 1951. She retired from Personal Products in 1990. An active member of Brown Chapel AME Church for many years.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers. Rosena is survived by two devoted children: William Boyd Jr. "Skip" and Silvia (Sean) Riley both of Joliet. Three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her brother Neal (Mae) Carson of Joliet and two sisters Lee Ester Beamon of Milwaukee and Lizzie Grant of Joliet. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, 5 god-children and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral services will be Sun 7:00PM at Brown Chapel AME Church (1502 Mills Rd) with visitation 2-7PM Rev Lishers Mahone officiating. Interment Monday 10AM to Elmhurst Cemtery. A special thanks to Neal Carson, Dr. Kabbani, St Joseph Hopsital, and Rosewood nursing staff. Range Funeral Home in charge of arrangments 815-722-2215.
